Help to configure router and access point linksys

Hi guys, I have a problem, I don't succeed to configure the router linksys X3000 with the access point WAP610N, I want connect my sat decoder to internet for refresh channel setting with the access point, I have try a lot of times but not connect to router, also with wireless security disabled for testing connection but nothing, as I am can configure them?
