    wifi bridge wont connect

Hi guys i have just came home after spending 3 hours at my mates trying to get a dm500 working with a wifi bridge unsuccesfully.
I tested it on my home network before i went and it displayed encrypted channels great.

The problem i had is i set up the wireless bridge on my laptop to his network and could use the internet great but when i plugged it into the dm500 it didnt find the encrypted channels when i entered the network setup the ip was in the range 192.168.1.101 the gateway was 192.168.1.1 but the nameserver was 192.168.4.1 it was set to dhcp i tried evertything and could not connect the router.
    its a cisco wrt120n
    please help guys

I had a similar problem using a wifi bridge on my dm500. They are supposed to have problems using bridges so i purchased a cheap tp link access point and put it into client mode. Had no problems ever since.

Router is wireless N, bridge will be wireless G, he must have the router set to N only, try it on mixed or just G,
      HTH
PS also disable encryption, then retry if no joy with above.
