    HomePlug Ethernet Adapter

Have got a set of HomePlug Ethernet Adapters, one plugged into my router and the other one is downstairs and working perfect, my question is, can I buy a single Homeplug and put that in another room and have it working from the one plugged into my router?

    Many thanks.

The answer to your question is Yes . Once you have set up your original Homeplug network adding others is not a problem.

does it matter if the extra one is not of the same make? So if i use 2 develo homeplugs and 1 netgear homeplug would they all connect?

          Not sure,

          I have 3 powerlan 200 (devolo)
          And 1 belkin 200av,
but the belkin don't work with the devolo

So better ask your vendor if you may return if it is not compatible. or don't risk it and buy the same.
