    Cat 6a jointing.

Hi, what's the best way to joint a cat 6 cable ?
    Was thinking of soldering ?

The joint will be hidden under the carpet edge.

    Thanks

      Thanks for the reply.

I cannot replace it as it passes through 2 brick walls. The rj45 ends where terminated after the cable was passed through the 10mm holes in the brickwork.

That's why I was thinking of soldering.
