Can anyone tell me how I can setup port forwarding for DVR (Cameras) on server 2008 r2?

Are you using the Win2K8 R2 box as router/gateway for your network?

Router

Must be setup on your router, go to the site of the maker of your router and download the manual for your model. It will tell you all you need to know.

Sorry for delay in replying guys.

I had problems opening the ports on the netgear router so thought there might be something on the server2008 side i need to do but it turned out the router itself was faulty even though it was brand new. After changing it everything is good.

how is your service provider and what brand of dvr are you trying to setup?
