    I'm Stuck

Ok let me 1st give you my network layouot before i get to the problem i am having.

My ISP is Virgin with a Superhub in modem mode. This runs through to my TPLink N600 series Gigabit router.

This then feeds a TP Link switch under my TV.

From this, i have ran a line upstairs to a bedroom with another TP Link Switch

Again, into another room, again, TP link Switch, this then filters down and feeds 2 bedrooms (they will be having switches, just not needed yet)

All running through Cat6e cable, all chased and plugged up with sockets in the walls.

The problem i am having is that, only 1 XBOX 360can connect to live at a time. Its throwing DNS errors. The only way i can get more than 1 XBOX online is to reboot the HUB.

I have systematically rebooted everything on the network to no avail, of course, except the HUB.

I have been in contact with Virgin, who are telling me that everything is fine blah blah blah. I have been put through to thier 'Networking' team who still could not advise me, apart from they wont support more than 1 device on a network bull.

Everything else is running fine, i have googled this issue, nothing is jumping out at me.

Other things i have tried are :

Port forwarding to a static IP on the boxes - Failed
Manually setting DNS servers in my router - Failed

    Has anyone any ideas????

Funnily enough I did ask them about this new hub and they just said they trialing 1. Gaston gave me a link last night which said about ip reservation in dchp. So I tried it. It worked. Tried again this morning and it failed.

Something a miss somwhere. Going to try again later

Engineer came monday and changed hub for like to like, they are only allowed to instal new hubs on instals on 60mb lines or above he was telling me.

Anyway, internet not dropping out now, we were also furthest on street away from box with weakest signal .

Also solved xbox issue, under my router there are 2 NAT types HArd and Soft, i have to disable the soft for them to connect at the same time.

I also posted on tplink support forums, rang xbox and virgin and nobody was any help
