Repeater through virtual

My laptop is connected to a neighbours wifi, it only picks up a good signal in certain areas of my flat.

I want to plug in a wifi repeater near my skybox to run an ethernet cable to it.

Would i be able to use a virtual router on my laptop to connect to a wifi repeater?

What im thinking is when i set up the repeater on my laptop i wont be able to run the virtual also.

It can be done, basically you are using your laptop as an VR or access point, if the WIFI signal is pretty good you can purchase a 240V repeater from fleabay and run both laptop and Openbox.
