New laptop very slow on My Wifi network but ok on Neighbours Wifi

I've got a new laptop from work
When i connect via my own Wifi it painfully slow but most of the time the page fails to load
Direct cable ok
Neighbours WiFi ok

All my other devices are fine on my own Wifi even the old work laptop is fine

Im using a Netgear WNR2000v2 and another WNR2000v2 as repeater

Any ideas

Does the new laptop find the router correctly?
I guess its faster at work than a home, so could be a conflict somewhere while at home.
What is the connection like, percentage wise?

have you tried inSSIDer to see what your WiFi signal is doing and if there is any interference in the area...
whenever it comes to WiFi troubles inSSIDer is the first thing i use to do a check
