    Wifi router help

Hi guys I'm looking for advice and recommendations for a wifi router.
I want to connect the router to my sky hub which will act as my modem.
I've been having connection issues to the wifi on the sky hub and it keeps dropping the multiple devices I connect to it.
Sky have been useless and keep sending out new hubs but the problem persists.
I have now connected a 10 year old sweex lw050 wireless router to the sky hub via an Ethernet cable and everything's working great now.
The max speed of the sweex lw050 is only 54mb/s and I gather modern routers are much faster than this and apparently dual band too.
So I'm looking for a modern wifi router(it doesn't need a built in modem) that will work with my sky hub via an Ethernet cable. Recommendations please and prices.
    Many thanks
    johnboy.
