    TV VERSITY SERVER HELL!

    Been trying to sort this problem out for ages now first here is a pic of my setup...



    right the noddy main pc has two network cards in it one for broadband going in and the other going out for conecting to the wireless router via a crossover cable...
    The other dotted conection is just my laptop conecting wirelessly to the router....
    Now why can i see the tv versity media sever on my main pc showing here on this image



    And not see it on my ps3 where it is spose to be as well!

    Can somebody shed some light on this problem because its doing my head right in!

    Running windows 7 by the way..
    Here is the network conections if you need them

    have u gone into media sharing and added your ps3 ?

          cant understand why you use a crossover cable to the router

          set up should be wan to router if adsl it will be built in VM there modem to dsl router

          lan to each pc ethernet or wireless

          only need to use a crossover cable if going pc to pc



          standard Ethernet everything set permissions and sharing

          mostly switch off the firewalls your router has a the best firewall you dont put a fence up in your lounge just back from the front door do you
