2laptops 2modems 1shut down 1stayed on.??

has any one had the same where u link up both laptops n modems one goes to virmin acavation page where as the other modems stays on but with virmin thinkin its been dumped.?? any mac swaps for northampton areas

they only allow one mac address so the second modem is useless and why would you need two modems just fit a router to the one modem and add as many switches as you need up to 55 on std cable
