    2 modems off same line?

Hi i was wondering if its possible to have 2 modems runnin off the same phone line? I have 1 phone socket in room 1 which is an extention from room 2, where the main phone socket is.
At the moment i have my orange livebox modem connected in room 1, but the wireless signal is not strong enough to be picked up in room 2 (and other rooms on that side of house? Therefore is it possible for me to get another wireless modem and connect it to the main phone socket in room 2 whilst the livebox is connected in room 1? Both would be connectin to the same isp etc. Is this possible?

You can add wireless range extenders, looks like an antenna with a base. They work ok.

It's not possible unless you have two modems , two pair of wires coming from DSLAM , two ports in DSLAM configured and two accounts.

back to org question, and as mentioned by luclis...its not possible unless you have two lines...otherwise a conflict occurs
