    ALFA R36 ROUTER/WIFI EXTENDER

    Hi all

    I have just bought a ALFA R36 too go woth my ALFA AWUS036H

    have any of you guys got any experience is setting these up so i can

    connect too the Target AP and share the Target AP,s Bandwidth with my other wireless devices

    any ideas most welcome

      I was also looking around for some info as I just got myself the R36. Seems like they expect you to do a little bit of work to get everything bridged correctly. Thats not to say its a bad thing, just doesn't seem like its a one click process. I took a look in the manual, which is located here: http://www.alfa.com.tw/in/front/bin/...ategory=105415 I looked around to figure out how to do that and found it at: Repeater Bridge - DD-WRT Wiki I'm still wondering if I need a firmware upgrade though of the older model to make sure that it works correctly. I've seen a few people actually who have reviewed it at WiFi Repeater Reviews | Wireless Repeater Reviews and they've said its worked for them. But with that being said they didn't provide too much information as to HOW they actually did it, so I'm assuming it has to deal with the DHCP settings.
