Can't install Winrar

unknown to me the copy of winrar i had was a 40 day trial one. It appears now that I can't install a free copy as, when I try it gives me a popup asking to buy a copy. I had uninstalled my earlie copy but it seems that it's left something in my registery which is not allowing me to install a free copy.

Any help or ideas will be appreciated.

pkunzip unzips rars, google for that or you could go for crack to use winrar. try crackspider.net

try the following link the software is free 7-Zip - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com it will open rar files but not compress to rar, stay away from crack sites you could pick up a virus in a download.
