pc to tv sound

hi all

just put the hdmi cable from my acer pc to tv but not getting any sound is this the norm, still got sound from the pc. also while im on here when i got the pc it came with windows 7 home, since then i have got windows 7 ultimate with it's own product key.
is the old w7h key any good to any one.

yes, i had a similer problem.
it doesnt automatically switch it.

you have to go into realtek audio manager and change it.....

just set it to auto switch. thanks
