i av a problem with my computer the touchscreen isnt working it all turns on but when i get to the screen the arrow will not work

ive done a factory restore and that asnt solved it

system number is GS275AA-ABU
serial number is CNH73826XG

What version of windows is on it?

Can you plug a mouse into it?.. try that and boot to windows and see if the touchscreen driver is ok, check in control panel to see if it has any options to calibrate the touchscreen.

maybe the driver got corupt or the touch panel connector may be loose... or maybe even the touch panel is ~~~~ed.

yes you can plug a mouse into it i will try all that but what if the touchpad is ~~~~ed what do i do then somone said its the video card could that be right

I'm pretty sure it's not the video card.. as long as the screen is displaying something and computer is running ok then the video card is ok and doesn't really have anything to do with how touch panels work. Touch panels are just like them drawing tablets some graphic artists use on their pc's, only alot slimmer and transparent and masked over the screen, so they just map where the mouse would be when you touch the panel, but has some clever software for other things like scrolling and zooming.

If you open the pc you will see the panel is probably connected to one of the internal usb headers.
