can you boot up in safe mode (hit F8 during boot up)? Have yo got nod32 antivirus installed? have you got Cubase installed? these products are suggested at causing a conflict which pruduces this error.
If you removing these does not work but you can get in in safe mode then do a system restore and when running again scan your machine for adware and spyware..
