i have a toshiba satellite L300-20D laptop i turn it on and it goes to a black screen blue box and says enter current password i dont no the password any help please

assuming just hitting enter not working....
can you not boot into safe mode...go from there?

no cant do anything on it i press the power toshiba logo comes on and straight to a black screen blue box and says enter current password

tapping f8 key or whatever it is on your laptop should put you in safe mode if not try...ophcrack..google it ...use maybe the live cd version

also ERD commander is pretty good. You need to boot off of it, cd,dvd or USB. hope that makes sense
