Fn buttons not working :(

I have installed windows 7 on the other halfs Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li 2727 and since then the Fn+F1 button doesn't work so i now can't turn on my wireless

I've read about a script that enables it on startup but i can't figure out how to save a file as .vbs in windows 7?

any ideas anyone?

Don't know if its the same but sony vaio's have software that you download to make the Fn keys work. check out FS support site to see if they have similar for your lappy

It happens with Vista as well. I have the Amilo and often get the same problem running Vista home. It's even more painful for me because I turn off the WiFi unless I'm actually going to be using it.

The only way I have found to cure it without installing extra software is to do a complete shut down, remove the battery and replace it after about 5 minutes then boot up again.

It's a real pain because it's a DLL and if you could locate which one and if it uses any parameters, you could call it up using Rundll from the run command on the start bar or even a batch file.
