    vista problem

    Hi Folks

I don't seem to be able to download software on my PC. It comes up with a virus on downloads and deletes. I'm trying to download firefox and AVG. Is this a problem with the way vista is set-up?

    Any help would be appreciated.

You have been infected with a virus, there are two options...

    1. Download malwarebytes on another computer & install on your infected system. Scan & remove everything it finds.

    2. Format C:

Install fresh version of Vista (only for the clinically insane), or download & install Windows 7

        1. Install Vista from dvd and format c:
        2. Don't use (open) D disk. ( maybe auto-run virus).
        3. After install use internet for freeware antivirus for scan D.

Nod 32 anti virus can cause download problems with vista. Windows 7 best bet though.
