    windows explorer error message

Im running windows 7 on my spare laptop, when it starts up the desktop stuff comes on as normal then a windows explorer message comes on says 'windows explorer has stopped working and is looking for a solution' it flashes off then desktop restarts itself this is happening all the time and you cant click on anything at all to try and stop it.
It starts up ok in safe mode on its own - What i would like to know is there anything i can do to disable this message and or fix the problem at all?

it is possible that you have a virus

    run malwarebytes in safe mode

have you tried a system restore

I know you've found a way around this now but if anything like this happens again it's worth trying as system restore point:

System Restore - Windows 7 features - Microsoft Windows
