I have a pentium 4 comp running xp and it keeps rebooting for no reason can any help

could be overheating, can you check all fans especially the one on the CPU, it might not be sufficient or intermittent. If it is the CPU fan it can also have damaged the CPU.
I doubt its your memory as you would be getting the blue death screen, and if it was your Graphics card the PC would Crash.
Also do a full Virus scan, maybe try a different virus checker as a double check.

That makes me think its too hot even more m8. Try a more powefull CPU fan, also chack your power supply, there is a fan in there and it might be clogged up with dust, blow the dust out, but it deffo sounds like overheating.
When it shuts down, put your hand over the CPU fan i bet its very hot.

most likely its probably a Ram issue as well... so i would verify the ram
And disable the reboot so that instead of your comp rebooting it will go to the BSOD (blue screen of death) Note down the error message and tyep it in google..
once you done you will know straight away whats causing the issue
for example: irq less or equal usually tends to mean that its a Ram problem and so on.Comment
