    acer keeps freezing

    acer aspire t671 on vista keeps freezing nothing works the mouse ctrl alt del have to switch off and put back also keeps losing time

    Have you tried using a different Operating System? Something like a Linux Live CD (runs off the cd without touching the hard disk) or installing XP.

    Another thing to do is reflash the bios, acer will have a tool and instructions on their driver site. Watch with the bios though, make sure you computer is running stable, mate of mine bricked his laptop when it crashed half way through and he had to send it back to acer. So there is that risk.
    I've seen laptops do weird things with a corrupt bios (never expected that to just happen myself).

    Could also be heat damage, does it run for roughly the same period of time before it crashes every time?

    The time thing might be the little battery on the motherboard (not the one that powers the machine when its on).

      pc seems to stop when ever it wants then switch it off and need to reset clock on it
