Is anyone using a panasonic cf-29e mk2 running xp pro sp3 ?
The hdd packed up on mines last week,and i could not find the restore disks,so got hold of a oem xp pro sp3 disk and installed it,everything went ok ,but when i came to install my vauxhall stuff,it seems the autostart is not working,dont know if its a driver issue,or a dvd drive issue or even a software issue. I reinstalled xp home sp1a,the drive seems to work,as does the autostart,installed sp2,everything seemed ok,global tis ok,adobe ok,then i noticed a pop in the task bar saying "installing new hardware",then its back to no autostart/drive. Could it be the new version of adobe causing this?.
this will be the fourth time installing an os on the new hdd.
any help most welcome.
