Dell Vostro 1510

Hi guys, when my dell vostro 1510 is powered on, it tries to load the operating system with the indicator line running from left to righ and hang.

what i have notice is when this happen, the hard drive indicator is turned off. i have reload the default settings in bios, used all the safe mode options, and last known good config but no luck.

i have tried a different hard drive and also an external hard drive but when reinstalling windows, it hang at 'windows is starting' and again, the hard drive indicator light turn off.

It may be a HDD controller on your MoBo. What i would do is to run some live rescue CD like MiniPE or Hirens boot CD and try to diagnose HDD, chipset and so on...
