    Windows 7 Service Pack Problem

I really hope someone can help with this.
    It's driving me nuts!
Right,I am able to download & install it.
But when it asks whether I wanna restart,I click on it.
Then it configures & gets to 10% then shuts down & restarts.
Again it configures but as soon as it gets to 10%, it says "failed to configure" & reverts to old settings & reboots.
When it restarts,it obviously is telling me that I got important updates & again I get the same problem!

    Help!!!

Are you using a legit version of windows?

Start > Control Panel > System

At the bottom of the screen you should see something like this...

If you don't and it says windows needs activating, you will need to download an activator like WGA-CHEW or DAZLoader.

If you are using a paid-for version of windows you might find it quicker to re-install windows & starting from scratch.

This is a common problem if you have the pirated copy of OS. Canker is right, Try to check if your copy of OS a GENUINE one, otherwise, you need to have it activated first before you can install SP. Sometimes, You can't install SP direct not unless you need to update some application, try run auto update. read the KB requirements before you can install SP. hope this will help.
