Verbatim harddrive problems

I have a Verbatim N446 hard drive, i am unable to connect this hard drive to my computer or laptops, can anybody advise a way to connect this drive?

is it 2.5 inch ?

i take it you are talking about a portable hd with a usb connection which you are having trouble with.
i had a similar problem with a Verbatim drive which neither laptop or pc would recognise which was down to the usb connection, the only solution was to remove the hd from the caddy and either fit directly into a pc or buy a new caddy as the actual hard drive was in working order.
