help for formatting

hello everybody does anyone know if avg 8.0 does not let formatting 2 be done
if no is there another good way that i can format my pny usb 2.0gb whenever i click format it makes me wait and says windows was unable 2 complete the format

Not sure why it does that as I don't use AVG.

Try right clcik on "my computer" and choose manage, then go to disk management and highlight the pny on the right side and right click and choose format...see if it does it that way.

or disable your avg n try that

avg will not stop you formatting a drive but why format a drive if you want to remove a file just delete it.
