    PC Freezing up

Hi, I have recently refurbished a pc, I have a really strange problem with it, that it just locks up, and freezes after about an hour of not being used.

    Power management is disabled
    All Fans are working
    There are no error messages

Any advice would be useful at this stage before I throw it out of the window

Get a hardware monitor and check it after about a half an hour if the temps on the CPU are above 50C then it probably needs a new coat of thermal paste since its old, when you refurbed it did you remove the heatsink for cleaning or anything?... sounds like an overheating issue

Thats just a vague stab at what it could

Does it give you any blue screens anytime

Like Sirus already said, it's most likely a heat issue.

Nothing really to add, just confirming his suggestion.

      Sirus has said it all.
