i have got a lap top it says missing ntldr i have looked it up i think it means its booting up from the wrong place .cant do any thing with every thing as froze on it i think sum 1 spilt sum thing on it any 1 no how i can get it bk 2 life thanks

When you start your computer, you receive the error message "NTLDR is missing. Press any key to restart."
Cause
The error message "NTLDR is missing" means that the Windows boot loader (NT Loader, NTLDR) cannot be found. This often occurs when the computer tries to boot from a drive other than the one Windows is installed on, due to a change in the drive configuration or because you left a bootable disk in a removable drive. But it may also be because the NTLDR file has been corrupted or deleted.

Simple "ntldr is missing" fix with boot floppy or CD, then fix HD -
When you get NTLDR is missing message following these steps will cure it in about 2 minutes.
Load the recovery program by tapping F11
On the first screen hold CTRL and press C to get the WIN PE command prompt
Type in copy c:\windows\i386\ntldr c:\ and press enter
Type in copy c:\windows\i386\ntdetect.com c:\ and press enterType exit and press enter
Click the restart button in the bottom left corner of the recovery screen
This fix works providing it is just one of these 2 files that are missing or corrupt.
The other side to this error message is that the OS is completely corrupt OR the hard drive has an
error.

How did you do with this?
By the way, leaving a non bootable floppy disk in the FDD can cause this (if you have one)
