Uninstall the software, download something like youruninstaller to purge keys that get left over, then download malwarebytes and run a scan. As long as you haven't got any viruses on there it should be ok

i found how ill past it here

In "about:config", enter associated search tags like "goo", "get", "it" or "McAfee". If strings appear, right click on each one and choose "reset". Now if the string is changed to something other than "Google", I suggest you to delete it. To do so, you need to look into your user profile.

If using Windows 7 or Vista, go to "C:\Users\Your Username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\Profile folder .

If using Windows XP, go to "C:\Documents and Settings\Your Username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\Profile folder.

Open the file "prefs.js" with Notepad and search (Ctrl+F) for the string names (or parts of it) you want to delete. Then simply mark the lines and delete them. Save changes and you should be done.

it has most likely changed your network settings in your browser
and not corrected them common with proxy software.

depending on which browser you have you will need to go in to the
options and network settings and disable the proxies so it will use your
main ip dns addresses etc and be able to change your home address.

                  Firefox

                  Tool-Options-Advanced-Connection-Settings-No Proxy.

                  Internet Explorer

Internet Options-Connections- Lan Settings-Untick Proxy Setting.

                  Opera

                  Edit-Preferences-Advanced-Network-Proxy Servers
                  Then Remove Proxy Information.

                  Safari

                  Edit-Preferences-Advanced-Change Settings-Lan Settings-Proxy Settings
and Untick Use a Proxy Server For This Connection
