eee pc canon ip2500

bit of a problem folks, looking to the denizens of dk to help me out.
i,ve searched everywhere and cannot find a solution to this prob, so here goes.
bought my daughter an eee pc and someone else bought her a canon ip2500 printer.
the problem is, i cant install the printer on the eee.
it works under xp on the eee, but its as sluggish as a...well... a slug so it was back to the built in OS.
its a flavour of xandros linux and i need the drivers for this or any solutions to get it installed.

well thanks for that unadkat. Unfortunately, their seems to be no info of use to me on that site. (or maybe i'm just thick and cant find it)
My initial post may of rambled on a bit so i'll put it into a more concise format.

once your on the site there is a tab at the top which says " forum "

post the problem which you are having and they wil assist you mate.

thanks buddy. but when i couldnt see anything on the black viper site. i looked elsewhere and got it sorted.
turned out i needed debian drivers and guess what? canon dont do debian drivers .
anywhere thanks again but problem solved and if a mod can close this thread, i would be eternally grateful
