Do you test to block internet communication on firewall ?

i installed ixilsoft with crack, turned off firewall disconnected internet. I have AVG if thats useful info to you, but in instructions i'm asked to turn off updates for ixilsoft but i haven't a clue how to do it. thanks for your help guys.

find ixilsoft in avg and disable its access to the net
if u cannot find it in there add it to avg then disable it
