      Depending on what you actually need Win98 for, why not install WinXP as your base OS and then use something like VMWare to run a Win98 session within WinXP. You'll find Win98 runs very well indeed as a virtual PC

        install 98 first then on the same drive install xp then when all done on load up screen will give u an option to boot in xp or 98

          do half partition


          50% win 98 and 50% win xp

                it's best suggestion...but it will be better if 98 in first drive (C) and XP at the other one (D)
