Smsung n15o plus netbook will it run Sype and mame ok ?

Hi,

Recentley acquired a Samsung n150 plus netbook and trying to install skype after installing versions 3.8 and then the latest 5.5 version i just cant get the app to work, installs. On 3.8 just hangs after the logon screen and version 5 just does nothing upon launching. Is anyone running this ok on this netbook? if so need some advice also would this thing run mame ok?
