big problem with hd

i went into one of the dos partition programs on the boot cd but it wouldnt give me the option to create a partition

only thing i think i can do is wait for my sata cable to come then connect it as a slave to my desktop see what i can do with it then.

hi tamgunner had read the posting up here....I think HDD regenerator is standard tools inside hirens boot CD since version 5 till 10 that I download there is HDD regenerator there. maybe for hirens new version not include anymore. try to find 9.2 version of hirens boot CD or lower, look in to Hardisk tools, there must be there

ive managed to find a hdd regenerator program and downloaded that which gave me an option of creating a dos usb to run it off but ive tried it and get no where!

Well i got hdd rengerator and ran it from usb stick but it was no use done one sector and that was it came up sayin second sector had a connection issue. so looks like a new hd. no way to fix it
