    Viewsonic VA2226W

    Hi,

I am currently using a Viewsonic VA2226W monitor.

In Windows Xp (32bit) I was getting Full HD resolution of 1920x1200.

But in Windows 7(32bit), I am getting only to 1680x1050 recommended.

Display Adapter: Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family

Is it possible to unlock the other resolutions?

    Thanks.

    VESA 1680 x 1050 @ 60Hz (recommended) means that the resolution
is 1680 x 1050 and the refresh rate is 60 Hertz , which is Your native resolution . Here are the supported resolutions for Your monitor :

    1680 x 1050 @ 60 Hz
    1440 x 900 @ 60, 75 Hz
    1280 x 1024 @ 60, 75 Hz
    1024 x 768 @ 60, 70, 72, 75 Hz
    800 x 600 @ 56, 60, 72, 75 Hz
    640 x 480 @ 60, 75 Hz
    720 x 400 @ 70 Hz

Have You looked in the Screen resolution ,advanced options, monitor and unchecked the "hide modes this monitor can't display" box ?
