Home networking not working properly...

it was the firewall that was causing a problem.. once i shut it down it was fine.. how do add exceptions to the firewall..

i am using zone alarm 8..

not used zone alarm for a while but there is a tab for the trusted zone which refers to home networking, configure each pc from there.
