flash drive problem

hi i have a flash drive stick a transend 4gb stick which was working i have lots of documents on it which when i plug in it pops up as removable disk but when i click on it it says to insert removable disk,is there any way to get all my info back or get it working again...thnx in advance any ideas....micky

try this mickey
1. Log in as Administrator account in windows or any other account with administrative privileges

2. Insert your removable disk into the USB port.

3. Click Start, now right click on my computer and select manage
4. Now, click Disk Management
5: Right click on your removable drive partition and select Change Drive Letter and Paths under Disk Management
Change the drive letter some other drive letter like X: or Z: which is not reserved by some other drive on windows

go get the same model from argos, swap em over, take the knackered one back to argos. EEEEAAASSSSYYYY
