how can i use my laptop and a flash drive to reboot my desk top, well my brothers, i think it has windows 7 but it might be vista, yet dose it matter just to gain booting again? he dose not have a recovery disk!
Have you tried F8 on start up and either last known configuration.
Or
The pc should a hidden partition to restore from, they don't give out disks now (also found F8)
