Win7 Enterprise - KMS activation

I have three laptops that are ex corporate jobs, i.e. end of lease and then sold on..

They were loaded with clean fresh image from the company that sold them on.. The problem is that all three of them 6 months on are now asking for KMS activation and obviously I cannot connect to the previous owners servers to activate them properly to get rid of the KMS nag window on windows logon.

I can find various pages on the net showing some KMS servers here and there i could authenticate to... Has anybody else tried these and can give some feedback on the results etc?
