cant delete a file from desktop?

Hi
Im running windows 7 and i have a file in my desktop that when i try to remove it says its not located there anymore please verify location??-ive tried renaming etc and nothing??

Right click the file then properites then find target and try deleting it from the location it gives you first...............

Try opening a command prompt with Administrator access and delete it from there - worked for me in the past.

Sorted...i downloaded a program called Unlocker found it on a google search--finally got rid of it...
