    Help to get my user account back Please.

    Last night my daughter created a new user account in my PC under her name.
    Now my account is gone with my desktop is gone with all short cuts to all my applications.

    I have tried to restore my computer to an early date but the reply frome restore was unsuccessful.

    Do anyone please know how to get my user account back the strange thing is I am the administrator with a password well I was now her user account is the administrator and no sign for my account to be seen.

    Please if anyone there can help I would appreciate it if not I have to reinstall the windows XP 64 again and I will lose all my folders with very important folders and files.

      My first suggestion would be to do a system restore but I see you've already done that. And it didn't like it? Have you tried another date?

      Try booting up in safe mode and logging in as the proper 'Administrator'.

              HE HE I got my user account back when I restored my computer from safe mode
              and also everything to go with it " kaos you are a STAR and life saver M8"
