What is wrong with my internet?

For the past few months their has been a 50/50 chance that if i close one of my tabs in my browser my router crashes or something and loses connection for 10-15 seconds. whats wrong?

How do you know that your connection is dropping did you tried to ping something?

Are you on wifi or DSL or cable.

Does this happens with all browsers.

We need more details.
