Captcha problem

I seem to have a captcha problem but only on ticketmaster web page. Basically there is no image displayed to be input in the box.
My java and everything else is up to date, could it be a firewall blocking the image?

Any other ideas anyone?

try a different browser. that will rule out a few things

Yeah tried that mate. I.E. and Firefox even updated to latest versions.

can you try a connection from a different isp on the machine? that will rule out a few more.


if not, try clearing the cache on the browser then reload the ticketmaster page

Oi you've hijacked my thread

I cleared my browser and tethered my laptop to my htc (does this give my a different isp?) if so still no luck i'm afraid.

ok , try this, in mozilla click tools/options/content. then make sure Load images automatically is ticked

yes it is mate and enable javascript is ticked.

try this tools / options/ (firefox will) use custom setting for history. accept cookies from site (should be ticked), untick accept 3rd party cookies then add exception for ticketmaster url

if you need to buy tickets fast use the hearing impaired option.

sorry mate, was hoping someone would jump in with an obvious solution and put me to shame . did you get your tickets anyway?

The laptop was my mates wife's. It might just have had taste and was stopping her from getting west life tickets
it was only happening on ticketmaster and hotfile for some strange reason. Googling the problem brought up quite a few other people in the same boat but no solutions. I've returned it now with my head hanging in shame as she needs it back. The search for a solution shelved for another day I think.
