cd or dvd audio download

Hi downloaded a album burnt to cd and a dvd tried to play it in my car cd registered goes to first track but no sound also same in my hi fi player but it plays well in my pc and in my dvd player sound is great in both can any one help please thanks mial

What format did you burn them in? MP3, MP4, WAV, etc?

it is really important that you burn your cd/dvd in a format thats supported by your car's installation or your hifi system, dvd players can play most of the things because they support a lot of formats
