Error Loading Operating System

As the title says. Comp show me this message when I boot. I have re-install Windows and the same. Change HDD, new fresh Windows installation and same.

I have asked Google and it says it could be the BIOS problem.

Any Ideas?

After installation... did you go back into the BIOS to change the boot order to HDD? (Just thinking computer is expecting to boot OS from CD/DVD)

Open your case then check to see your IDE/Sata
and power connections are right and firmly in place

Check to see the device is showing on the startup screen
if it is then go to your bios and change the bootup priority

go in your bios
check in advanced for the boot setup.

you usually want:

HDD 1st (if you have more than one hard drive select the one with the Operating System on and the other number 2 instead of CD/DVD make that third.
CD/DVD 2nd/3rd depending if you more than one hdd

then try getting the last known configuation to work by using your F8 key and then selecting the option if it does not work

use your OS Disk to repair the operating system.(make sure its a good working disc as some discs can cause problems like unable to read certain files when damaged enough)

when you said you checked on google for the issue and it said it could be a bios issue only when there old enough they can sometimes not be able use certain hard drive sizes and it only applies to certain bios

if your bios is old enough might want to check to see if theres an update for the bios after you fixed it

After checking what "Reapers" has detailed in his post, i would strongly recommend that u try the clean install using different ram.

85% of the time the ram causes errors when installing the OS. the OS will say something like "cant copy xyz.dll or file. this is usually down to a dodgy ram stick on its way out.

If the ram is ok, check the hard drive, it has been known that the hard drive can be faulty even if its come new out of the box. try running a diagnositic tool on the hard drive or on another machine (if you have one)

Finally.... if its a Sata hard drive.. check in your Bios that its set to "ATA" as previous experience of installing an OS with the Sata operation in the bios being set to "AHCI" appears to go through the motions but then fails half way through the install.

Give it a go, im certain thats the usual culprit (Ram / HDD + Settings).

Reading this, is the error installing windows or is after a succesful instal then a reboot?

Bios should be configured -

CD/DVD Drive
USB
HDD

Also if there are more than 1 HDD/DVD drives you will need to look how these are configured esp if IDE drives

I agree with steet hawk, its a ram problem, specially with new OS with an older PC

try upgrade your bios.

Try a 'live' version of a linux distro such as Ubuntu - you only need to run it and not install it, it will run from memory/dvd only. If this has problems then the likely culprit has already been mentioned, the memory. If it runs ok you need to investigate other areas more thoroughly.
