ok guys,my cursor has decided its grown up and decide to do its own thing,jumpin all over the place,other than throw the lappy off a wall i will try the boffins in here as they are the best any help will be much appreciated as the better half is doing ma nut in....cheers

erm... try an actual mouse rather than touchpad.
if the mouse works, d/l touchpad drivers and re-install them.
run virus scan
finalyl re-install windows if none of the above works
