Presumably you could just clear the CMOS by removing and then reinstalling the CMOS battery. This might be a simple way of fixing the problem

This method only works for old laptops, Not new series!

Dell gave me a password that didn't unlocked the BIOS and wants to replace mobo. Is there any hardware option to reset the "enter system password"?
