advent roma 1001

hi
i have advent roma 1001 with windows 7
i would like to know if it can be restore from hhd rather than discs which i have not got
i have tried pressing f8 on startup but there is nothing to restore back to factory
any help appreciated

No, you have to use the disk to boot up from.

all advent windows 7 machines does have a recovery partition.
unless you have wiped it at some stage, or ~~~~ed the bootloader completly..
get something like hirens boot disk, and try forcing a boot to each partition,, you may find the restore partiton,
if not, youl need some recovery disk.
also, try if you have any 7 disks, run startup repair and try the differnet paritions again from hirens, you should get it.
